- For best results when finishing, be sure to use only high quality primers and paint products that are compatible with each other, and to your overall job.
- Allow for the recommended drying times between product applications, and follow all manufacturers recommendations.
- Apply a primer coat and let it dry, and then apply the finish coat.
- Unless using an interior flat, it is best to spot prime over each patch. The primer will enhance adhesion between patch and finish coats, plus reduce the dulling effect when using gloss or semi-gloss top coats.
- Think safety! Crawford's Free Spackling Paste in non toxic when used as directed, and hypoallergenic to the majority of the population.
